Kel and I took a walk. I zoned into my inner hipster in order to create truly ORIGINAL, UNDERGROUND, UNHEARD OF art….
.. with my trendy Hipstamatic iPhone App LOL

I FIND BEAUTY IN NATURAL LIFE.
This TOTALLY reminded me of this one band I listen to. You wouldn’t know of them. THEY’RE NOT ON YOUTUBE.

This has never been done before.

This tree spoke to me. It’s a rebel amongst it’s shorter, ORDINARY palm trees… much like me. And people, not palm trees.
BBL gonna go listen to sum Clap Your Hands Say Yeah~
I haven’t posted in forever! I have tons of new photos to post but there will be another post for that. To get things rollin again, here’s a picture I took with my new iPhone. :) not too shabby for a camera phone
PROGRESS 3
- Got most of the background done. There still need to be more ink.
- The pink part of the tentacles are 80% done. Still needs some spots and details but the shading is done.
- The girl’s base skin and one tone of shadow is on. Still needs to be deeper and finished. Her eyes need to get started on. I’d say she’s 30% done :(
- Fuck that hair. It’s going to be purple…. once I get this paint mixed into the right shade :\
- Suction of the tentacle needs to get some shadows.
FML. But I’m determined to get this done in a few hours. Thoughts? Opinions?
Previous steps:

Went to Lowry Park Zoo with Kel. <3
It was nice to get out after an entire week of rain rain rain. Sorry for the repost on Facebook! Tell me which ones you like most.

I was suppose to go to Japan Festival with Kel yesterday but I got too crunk with Jenny the night before and over slept. I suck. :(
So since I was stuck at home all day (and because I’m a huge antisocial hermit), I decided to get this painting over with.

OKAY. I KNOW. Very neon, 80’s colored- it’s the base colors I set so I plan on going a lot darker and deeper. I’m not sure what I want to put in the background. I know I want it very ‘sea colored’ but otherwise I have no clue. Suggestions are much appreciated.
I’m terrified of coloring her skin. Really terrified.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
It was Jenny’s birthday and I decided to draw her something (art kids love art gifts; I know I do) sooooooo…
PICTURES!
First sketch, kinda rough. Arm is too thick and face looks mean. :(
Fixed the face, arm and eyebrows. Now her elbows are too high up!! D:

Final product.

Detail on eyes.

I used my old makeup for the eyes, prismas for the lips, pastel chalks for the green haze and areola/nipple color, prima colored pencils for the hair, a silver sharpie for the silver dots around her and on her eyes, oil paint pen for the green squiggles and india ink for the lineart. WHEW.
She was happy with it, therefore I’m THRILLED. <33
